About Aharoni Fund
The Aharoni Fund for Art and Leadership was founded her by Amos Aharoni for the purpose of bringing the subject of the political leadership to the social agenda and to encourage the creation of original Israeli concepts and ideas in connection to the leadership.
In the fund opinion, the connection between artwork and leadership arises from a cultural aspect for the advancement of the subject and as a tool for the conservation of the Prime Ministers legacy.
Amos Aharoni sincerely believes that the Israeli society must invest large resources towards the training of the future generation of Israel leadership. To this effect, the fund activities are geared to promote the awareness of the subject in the public discourse, and to improve the image of the political leader in the eyes of the Israeli public.
For this purpose, the fund, as early as 2001, begun a collection under the name of the Prime Ministers Collection and as well welcomes and encourages the involvement of artists towards the goal of further expanding the collection’s creations. With the same initiative, the fund, in 2002 founded, the institute for the political leadership under which the “Program for the Political Leadership” was initiated in the frame of an MBA course in political science in the University of Tel Aviv.
