About Amos Aharoni
Amos Aharoni, the founder of the Aharoni Fund for Art and Leadership, is a businessman with many years of experience in the management of companies and international investments. Amos Aharoni is an Economy graduate from the Hebrew University as well as an MBA in Political Science from the University of Tel Aviv.
Amos Aharoni began his career in the world of business in the early 70’s, when he established many financial and economical activities in several endeavors based in Jerusalem.
In 1985 Amos Aharoni settled with his family to New York and established a company, which activities were geared towards the financing of international trade. In year 2001 Amos Aharoni returned to his homeland, Israel.
During the last few years, since his return, Amos Aharoni has taken a great interest in social projects and has searched for social initiatives that may, in addition, have some business connotations. As well, Amos discovers a great appeal in the dynamics of the Israeli politics, and its leadership, its vision, policies, its interpersonal relations and its attitude towards the political process. For such, the Israeli society should train and nurture its human capital who will, in the future lead the political process. In light of this, Amos Aharoni founded the Aharoni Fund for Art and Leadership which acts in order to promote leadership values in the Israeli public discourse.
