About Israeli Prime Ministers Collection
The Prime Ministers Collection is an exclusive art project created by famous artists that represents the Israeli Prime Ministers. The collection was founded by Amos Aharoni, for the purpose of honoring and saluting the Prime Ministers whether they currently lead and have lead the State of Israel since its birth.
The single and sole concept of the art collection is “Prime Ministers of Israel”. To date the collections counts about 100 illustrations, drawings and portraits, created by the best artists in Israel. The majority of the canvases can be described a being an incisive examination. From a historical perspective the exhibition is a pictorial documentation of the dynamic evolution, from the birth and until today, of the State of Israel political leadership.
The Aharoni Fund for Art and Leadership, constantly strives to expand the art collection and for this purpose it encourages artists to take a stand and document through their eyes; and in real time, the power of the events and the sentiments that envelop the day to day life of the Israeli politics.
The Prime Ministers collection purpose is to preserve the legacy of the State of Israel leadership. Further, the collection hopes to awaken in us the sense of value and esteem, honor and respect towards these men and women, who lead the State. The display of the collection via the “Politicart” site, offers values and ideals that call out for the training of future Israeli leaders through education and investment in resources and for the improvement of the political leaders image in the eye of the general public.
